August 04, 2020 Robin's Nest President's Column - August 2020

Let's travel, through the AMSN Convention.

It’s hard to believe we are already in the month of August! The days of summer are quickly passing and I can look forward to autumn which is my favorite time of the year! CEO's Corner - July 2020
July 01, 2020 CEO's Corner - July 2020 Words Count In last month’s CEO Corner, I shared my reckoning with you and my pledge to be a better ally and do my absolute best to ensure AMSN and MSNCB are diverse, inclusive, and equitable organizations. We are committed to doing so, both organizations are fully on board with pledging our commitment. To that end, you will see some additional work in the next couple of weeks and further into the future.

MSNCB President's Message: As a Nursing Profession, We Must Elect Not to Tolerate Racism
June 09, 2020 MSNCB President's Message: As a Nursing Profession, We Must Elect Not to Tolerate Racism

As a black woman, my journey in nursing is probably quite different from the journeys of many of my white peers. One of my earliest memories in nursing school was when a white instructor instructed me and my all-white nursing peers that “when bathing a black person do not be surprised when the water changes color because black people are usually dirty.”
